statement:
Taken while on assignment for Sea Ray Living in the summer
of 2003, "Trust Your Turn" is the embodiment of how we are
the captains of our own ships -- and how trusting yourself
fully can throw off unbelievable results. This photo shoot
in Nantucket Harbor -- a place I idolized my entire life --
and the resulting image were the fruitful results of
trusting instinct, pitching a story to my editor and
writing a "love letter" to a place I called home for nearly
40 years.
This piece was also a special birthday gift for my college pal, Matt Moore, who turned 40 this year.
