Thanks to Barb Shadomy and Ginny Sykes, our sixth selling season is officially underway with the sale of “Caterina dei Vigri,” for $500. The piece is a custom-framed, colored line drawing from one of Ginny’s collections. UPDATE: The piece SOLD to Barb Shadomy!
“Caterina was a 14th century Bolognese painter, writer and nun and later canonized, known as the Patron Saint of Female Artists,” Ginny says. The print is part of her Santitos Portfolio, which will be shown in the US, Mexico, and Nicaragua, and will eventually be in the permanent collection of Arizona State University.
