It's time to Get Down to the "Heart of the Matter"

(ATLANTA :: 30 December 2010) We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the buyer preview tonight! Among the other great pieces, you’ll see a photo canvas there entitled, “Heart of the Matter,” based on the Don Henley song. It’s not for sale; consider it more of a wish for next summer when we’ll try and build a compelling live program.
I didn’t really get the song the first time around; the cover of the song, though, by India.Aire, is spectacular, soaring and emotional.
India.Aire is on my wish list for 2011’s live event. She’d be a perfect fit and I hope she or some of the folks around her read this post. Of course, we are dying to host our “Blooming Coconut” (currently up to $1,250 on eBay as of this writing) photographer Julia Murney, too, with a rendition like this:
or this funny, awesome number from “All That Jazz”:
Hey, we can wish, can’t we?
“Heart of the Matter” could be the sub theme for ARTvision this year, as we made a commitment to drill down and get the stories behind every piece that we could.
