Daily Spotlight: "In the Company of Grace" by Kimber Herndon & Will Pollock
(20 December 2010 :: AUGUSTA, GA) In the spirit of ARTvision’s 2010 theme, “XL: Style & Substance”, we offer a two-part, mixed-media piece by Kimber and Will Pollock entitled “In the Company/of Grace.” The piece is inspired by the wedding of Bill Brennan & Jim Verraros, held in Chicago in 2009.

The subjects of the first portion of the two-part piece, Penny Frulla and Jenna Werdell, are shown walking to a nearby lake to take some wedding candids. As bridesmaids for the wedding, the photo by Will Pollock captures them in a quiet moment with the bridesmaids’ flowers tucked behind their backs.
This piece is a sequel to “Moments that Matter,” a very successful piece from ARTvision 2009 that sold twice within a matter of minutes on New Year’s Eve 2009. That piece was also a collaboration between Kimber & Will.
“In the Company/of Grace” also marks the second time that Kimber & Will have collaborated on a mixed-media project based on found objects from junkyards. Both pieces feature curled-trim iron grates with mounted photo-on-wood and are recommended for Atlanta-area buyers only.
Part One: “In the Company...”
Part two: “...of Grace”
