Deborah Davis’ “wearable art” comes to ARTvision 2009 in the form of “Arabian Nights” - a beautiful blue necklace offered at $250. Deborah comes to us by way of Jean O’Connor, who was nice enough to connect us with Deborah.

“Arabian Nights” includes the following components:

• sterling silver hardware
• non-tarnishing silver wire
• silver African beads
• Lapis Lazuli (center pendant rock chunk)
• Czech fire-polished glass beads in light blue/aqua
• Polished faceted lapis

“‘Arabian Nights’ is the perfect title for the Lapis,” she says. “I love Lapis. The color of Lapis is so precious and so intense that its radiance outshone all other colors. Many of the paintings of the Madonna were painted using this color (aquamarine blue) because of it's brilliance! The gold specks (pyrite) look like stars in the night sky.”

Jean and Deborah embody ARTvision’s theme this year of collaboration - where buyers, fans of ARTvision and other artists bring new people to our mission of raising much-neeed cash for Positive Impact.

“Arabian Nights” is offered at $
250.
