A “Trio” of comrades



The setting: early morning on Canal du Midi, Southern France. We are celebrating ARTvision Artist Rob O’Connor’s 40th birthday, and I thought to myself, “Let’s go get him some birthday pictures.”

And so I did. The characters profiled in “Trio” - one of them immortalized in “Emergence” later that year - were all getting their boat ready as the lock started its morning operation. The guys were totally game with getting their picture taken and pretty much ignored me most of the time.
