Bringing a Sunday outfit out on “Tuesday”
“Tuesday Best” comes from inauguration 2008... I was walking down the street with my pal Ted Toon, toward the rush of people trying to get on the Mall, and I snapped this shot of a couple with their daughter. It was a cold and blustery day, and she looked wide-eyed and awake to what was happening - and couldn’t wait to experience the day. I still wonder how it went for them.
The image has been printed on Pearl metallic paper, which gives it an added luster and pop that it wouldn’t have with standard Kodak paper. Hope you enjoy!
