Artist Sneak Peek: Vicky Croisant

(20 October 2011 - Atlanta) :: Photographer and zoo keeper Vicky Croisant comes to ARTvision as a buyer of one of Julia Murney’s 2010 offerings, “Blooming Coconut.” Her generosity was critical in earning us close to $12,000 in earnings last year; she expressed interest in donating some animal photography for this year’s event. As you’ll see, it’s a good thing we said “yes.”

As the Wild Animal Keeper at the Akron Zoo in Ohio, Vicky has unique access to some of the most beautiful and expressive animals on the planet. With “restoreARTive” as our 2011 theme, Vicky chose “Tamarr” (top) and “Aletta” as animal-kingdom examples of how animals can soothe the soul.
