Displaying Artist: Julia Murney (ATLANTA - 31 Jan. 2013) There’s nobody better positioned than our resident Broadway Diva Julia Murney to give us a flavor of New York City life. Such is the case with her three pieces this year - capturing Manhattan in unusual states of being, all to raise funds for Positive Impact. Here’s a round-up of her offerings:
“Rainy Day NYC” A rain soaked city through a pane-glass window. This is Julia’s first mixed-media piece, and is now live on eBay (more pics and measurements there):
“She Likes It” (Framed photography: $500). An elderly gal fancies the piano player with the hipster piano bench. Piece detail:
• gorgeous anthracite suede mat • pewter-steel metal frame • protected by UV-block & acid-free ACR
“Living the Dream” (Single print on archival art paper: $150 - this image can be customized in a mat and frame for an extra donation). A semi-autobiographical glimpse at a dancer - presumably going to an audition, or coming from a show.
Julia’s pieces will be staggered throughout the month of January. Visit Julia’s website for more on what she’s up to. If you’re interested in purchasing/donating, please contact us right away as these pieces won’t last long!- Will Pollock
