Artist Sneak Peek: Gordon Stuedler

(16 October 2011 - Atlanta) :: Photographer Gordon Stuedler comes to ARTvision via Twitter. After I noticed one of his snazzy shots, I clicked over to his gallery and, needless to say, was struck by his vision and sense of composition.
“Palm Lagoon” is one of the best statements of ARTvision-6’s theme, “restoreARTive,” because it embodies an uncomplicated, calm, infinite serenity usually reserved for our imaginations.

“Believe it or not, 'Palm Lagoon' is not a lagoon,” he says. “It is part of a palm grove the morning after a very heavy rainfall. The water in between the palms was probably about 6" deep.”
